In the Autumn, NHPR will be holding a series of briefing sessions with Phil Whiteley, co-author of leading management book Unshrink the People and a columnist for The Times.
We will be discussing the communication challenges HR Directors face in helping to position their company as a good employer. Among the topics we will be covering are:
- Will we put ourselves up to be shot down if we talk about our CSR policies?
- How do we communicate our credentials as a good employer to the outside world?
- Will policies to measure the value of people to the bottom line be misunderstood?
- Is there a disconnect betwee the values of our own people and those of the business?
The lunchtime events will be held on October 28 and November 11 in central London (venue to be confirmed).
